Description Jaromir Uhrik 2002-08-23 15:15:23 UTC
[#200208222340, jdk141 build 19]
I wanted to install NB34 from installer to my Win2K
machine. I have 2 problems with the destination directory
browsing dialog:
1. I cannot acces the pane with folders (the big one in
the middle) through the keyboard
2. I browse the path with mouse (e.g. c:\ide) then I want
to create some folder there and install ide to it (e.g.
c:\ide\nonexisting) so I write c:\ide\nonexisting to the
upper textfield and press Enter. Enter action will just
delete "\nonexisting" substring from the textfield. The
workaround is to press the OK button instead of Enter.

Scheduled for 4.0.
Comment 2 Richard Gregor 2003-06-23 13:59:28 UTC
There is a standard IS panel (default implementation delivered by
InstallShield) used. So we won't fix this as defect. Please file an
RFE for this, we can consider to implement own destination panel.
Thanks.
