Capture describing where the paste goes

This is a very old bug; I see it reported here and there for a number of years. It's even marked as fixed, but it still happens to me like the first day.

Lots of times, when I try to paste a text in the file I'm currently working on, after assuring I've clicked the mouse pointer in whatever line I want to paste the text, and after seeing that the text cursor is placed there, even after confirming that by seeing it properly blinking in place, then, when I press CTRL+V for pasting, the text won't go there, but instead it will be placed in the "Find:" input at the bottom of that same editor tab. It happens all the time.

Sorry; this is bug is so annoying and Netbeans team is so unresponsive on reported bugs that, after almost a year without any status change nor fixing nor commenting nor taking any action, I forgot that I had reported it already. Go figure.
