Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201606200002) Java: 1.8.0_92; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.92-b14 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_92-b14 System: Windows 10 version 10.0 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_CA (nb) User directory: C:\Users\Gili\AppData\Roaming\NetBeans\dev Cache directory: C:\Users\Gili\AppData\Local\NetBeans\Cache\dev I'm pretty sure there is a regression in the handling of split documents. Repro steps: 1. Split a document vertically. 2. Position the caret of the top document at the top of the file. 3. Position the caret of the bottom document at the bottom of the file. 4. Type a character in either window. 5. Notice that the caret position of the other document gets reset to the caret position of the current document. Expected behavior: Users should be able to type in one document without modifying the caret or scroll position of the other document.
Mila can you look at this, maybe it is caused by Multicaret implementation. Thank you.
