Description Peter Zavadsky 2002-07-30 09:04:03 UTC
Using generic cvs FS.

1) modified source
2) the status changed to locally modified.
3) commited the change.
4) the commit is was successful
5) but the status still shows [locally modified
<old revision>], niether refresh, nor update works
to get the new status

What the icon badging is?
If you run CVS -> Status on it, does it report Up-to-date status?
If yes and the icon badgins is correct, I would mark it as a duplicate
of issue #25987.
Comment 2 Peter Zavadsky 2002-07-30 15:02:57 UTC
Yes, it is exactly as you described.
Comment 3 Peter Zavadsky 2002-07-30 15:26:58 UTC
But I wonder it is a duplicate of the bug. That issue occures
occasionally, this one is 100% reproducible on my machine and very
annoying, (I just don't like to look at badges always, they are almost
not easy to distinguish thus needless for me, the status label is much
more in eyes)
Comment 4 Martin Entlicher 2002-07-30 15:45:14 UTC
I agree with you. But I didn't make any changes in status refreshing
recently, thus I believe, that there is a problem with annotations in
datasystems.
What does the tooltip on the DataObject's node say?
What is the file status in the Versioning Explorer?
If these two places gives the correct status, then this is really a
duplicate of issue #25987.

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 25987 ***
Comment 5 Peter Zavadsky 2002-07-30 15:56:55 UTC
You're right. Both things show correct status.
Please push the datasystem to fix this issue.
Comment 6 Martin Entlicher 2002-07-30 16:52:39 UTC
I've voted for the issue. You can do the same :-).
Do you know of any better ways to push things ahead?
Comment 7 Peter Zavadsky 2002-07-30 17:00:40 UTC
OK I did the same :-)
Comment 8 Jiri Kovalsky 2002-08-01 10:14:58 UTC
Me too ! Let's pain the town red ... ;-)
Comment 9 Jiri Kovalsky 2002-08-05 12:43:46 UTC
Sure, I hope that Petr will resolve it soon.
