Created attachment 159293 [details] Netbeans no MenuBar Netbeans 8.1 Doesn't display MenuBar on OSX Yosmite 10.10.5. Netbeans doesn't show in Opened Programs when we do 'Command'+'Tab' either. Also All Fields are Non-Editable including Search, Opened Files, New Files etc. Used older Netbeans and Same issue exists. Also tried disabling applemenu in netbeans.conf and the menu shows up, but mac doesn't recognize netbeans in running programs(command+tab) and still can't edit Files. i have been using netbeans for over 10 years now, joined a new job and hence using Mac. had to switch to eclipse for timebeing. are there any workarounds ?
In the screenshot there is a menu of some grabbing program that has the focus, thus it's not visible what is there when NetBeans has focus. There are some keyboard shortcuts to create a screenshot without switching to a grabbing program. Are NetBeans correctly installed? Maybe a thread dump can help if NetBeans are hung up somewhere... http://wiki.netbeans.org/GenerateThreadDump#To_Generate_Thread_Dump
