Description _ briansmith 2002-07-21 01:35:37 UTC
1. Start NetBeans
2. Open MDR Explorer
3. Close NetBeans while MDR Explorer is open
4. Start NetBeans

Expected Results: MDR Explorer appears with the
same window settings it had when NetBeans was last
closed.

Actual results: see attached stacktrace.

This is especially bad when in MDI mode because
MDR Explorer doesn't open up be default inside the
MDI window. That means every time, the user has to
choose Window | Frame Resides | MDI window (which
has a very awkward UI, BTW) and/or attach MDR
explorer to the appropriate portion of the MDI frame.

MDR explorer should probably, by default, open up
inside the MDI window when the user is running in
MDI mode. Do you want me to file a seperate issue
on that?

The current MDR Explorer is EOL'ed.
