Would be nice if NetBeans would give me a notification or message of some kind when I start it up and there's a newer update of the JDK available than what I am currently using to run NetBeans. I.e., why not use NetBeans to promote the latest version of Java? (Especially since performance enhancements are in the latest JDK and people are often on some older JDK that is less fast.)
