Steps to repeat (this is 100% repeatable):

1. Open Netbeans and go into full screen native mode on OS X

2. Open "Preferences" press either "import..."  or "export..." buttons in lower left corner of dialogue window.

Expected behavior:
- The file selection dialogue is shown

Actual behavior:
- An "invisible" file selection dialogue is opened and gets focus but since it cannot be seen it seems like the entire app has frozen. Pressing "esc" dismisses the invisible window and it is possible to continue as usual.

When netbeans (8.1RC1) is not in Full screen mode the import/export file selection dialogue is shown as expected.
