Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201509100002)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0_66-ea
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.66-b02

Reproducibility: Happens every time

STEPS:
  1. Open options panel and go to Font & Colors -> Syntax
  2. Select Language: "all languages" , category: "Default".
  3. Select Effects: "Wave Underlined", effect color:"Red".
  4. Select "Ok" button.

ACTUAL:
  nothing happens

EXPECTED:
  All the text should be underlined with a red wave
