Development build #200206280100 of NetBeans 3.4 Windows 2000 with JDK 1.4.1 RC build #15 Description: ============ "Annotation Pattern" global setting of filesystems of Built-in CVS Client is not preserved during import of project from NetBeans 3.3. Steps to reproduce: =================== 1. Launch NetBeans 3.3 IDE and push "Tools|Options...". 2. Expand "Source Creation and Management|Version Control Settings" and select "CVS Client Settings" node. 3. Change somehow "Annotation Pattern" property, like add new text and exit IDE. 4. Launch NetBeans 3.4 and import the project from NB 3.3. 5. Make sure that mentioned property is set to default.
I've tried the import with 3.3 and 3.3.1 builds and the annotation pattern is imported correctly. Works for me. Have you pressed the apply changes button on the property editor? (aka was the change visible in 3.3 IDE?) BTW we should get rid of the Apply changes button in the 4.0 timeframe. closing as worksfor me.
Okay, I agree that it is imported but it's not applied until some refreshing happens. Maybe that confused me. I agree that it works. Verified in development build #200211080100 of NetBeans 4.0.
Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
