Description ads_green 2015-05-11 08:14:31 UTC
I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 780M
With the latest NVidia drivers (350.12) I get a strange error - when I move the mouse to any icon and trigger a tool tip to appear it activates the GFX card instead of the integrated one on the CPU.

I can't find any setting or command line flag to disable this and even specifically excluding netbeans and java from the NVidia control panel doesn't work.
The problem remains until netbeans is closed but will return the next time a tooltip is presented in the editor.
The NVidia system tray monitor has the icon of the card in use but the words "no activity".

It's more than just annoying as the activation of the NVidia card (even idle) significantly increases the battery drain and the operating temp of the computer.
