Created attachment 152749 [details] screenshot Please check the screenshot, this is how Add Dependency dialog looks like on GTK L&F. Notice how the list of packages is not visible, one must resize it to see list of packages. It took me quite some time to figure it out :) Thanks Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201503200001) Java: 1.8.0_40; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.40-b25 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_40-b25 System: Linux version 3.13.0-35-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb)
What are the exact steps to reproduce, please? It seems fine for me, see attachment. Thanks. No steps, just starting IDE with fresh userdir, invoking Composer Init and Composer Add dependency
For what it's worth, I've tried it on another laptop with Ubuntu 14.04 and the situation is still same for me
OK, will try to review the code.
I tried also JDK 8 but still, it works for me. So I tried to improve the code a bit, let me know if it helps or not. Thanks. http://hg.netbeans.org/web-main/rev/a4aca7bb67a3
Integrated into 'main-silver', will be available in build *201503260001* on http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/ (upload may still be in progress) Changeset: http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/rev/a4aca7bb67a3 User: Tomas Mysik <tmysik@netbeans.org> Log: Trying to fix #251324 - Add dependency dialog difficult to use on GTK l&f
Unfortunately the fix did not help. Tomasi, please feel free to close it as worksforme or wontfix or make it P4, we can wait if there will be more reports or not. Thank you
OK, lowering to P4 for now. Thanks.
