Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411181905) Operating System = Linux version 3.13.0-35-generic running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_76 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.76-b04 Ctrl+Shift+Tab and Ctrl+Tab don't make a dialog show up to scroll through a visible list of open files. Nowhere online can I seem to find where to "enable" (or hide) this popup on this particular PC. Note: current-considered file path does appear only in the status bar at the bottom. Eg. http://www.skorks.com/2009/08/the-most-handy-netbeans-shortcuts-for-ruby-development/ IDE Related Shortcuts Ctrl+Tab – scroll down through open files. If you have many files open in the IDE, this is a handy one to know. Pressing it once will pick the last open file you were in before the current one, keep pressing to scroll down through all the files currently open in the IDE.

> Ctrl+Shift+Tab and Ctrl+Tab don't make a dialog show up to scroll through a visible list of open files. And what do these shortcuts do? You have to hold Ctrl and then press Tab (and still keep holding Ctrl down) to make the popups appear. Otherwise the active file will immediately be switched to the other (prev or next).

While holding down Ctrl , only the "target" file path appears in the status bar at the bottom of Netbeans. No dialog box appears (showing me the list of files I need to see). Tab switches targets. Still holding down Control. Still no dialog box.
