This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
The login page doesn't warn about the problem, that the cookies MUST be enabled in order to login. The personal Netbeans starter page appears as if being logged in, but if the cookies are disabled, going to devhome, for example, yields as if the user is not logged in.
Reassigning to issues@www.netbeans.org.
Huh? Kristen, standard procedure is that the "default owner" of new issues is issues@; a member of the NB team (me, Jesse Glick, Marek Vinar, Rudolf Balada and perhaps a few others) evaluate these and reassign them to the appropriate person. support@ being CollabNet.
Looking into this. Thanks, Kristen
A request has been submitted, PCN11308, to add the information that cookies must be enabled to the login page. Thanks, Kristen
In Truckee, it will be possible to add custom content, including the login page. You will be able to edit it at that time. Thanks, Kristen
In Truckee 1, there is now a message that says "You must enable cookies to use this site." on the login page, when you have your cookies disabled. Marking this "resolved fixed" in Truckee 1. We will test and verify following the upgrade to Truckee 1. When the resolution is confirmed by a netbeans team member, the issue can be marked "closed" by the netbeans team. Thanks, Kristen
Confirmed that the message "You must enable cookies to use this site" is displayed when cookies are disabled. Marking this as verified
We recently moved out from Collabnet's infrastructure
