Product Version: NetBeans IDE 8.0.2 (Build 201411102027) Updates: NetBeans IDE is updated to version NetBeans 8.0.1 Patch 2 Java: 1.8.0_25; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.25-b02 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_25-b17 System: Linux version 3.13.0-24-generic running on amd64; UTF-8; en_US (nb) User directory: /home/cesilko/.netbeans/8.0.1 Cache directory: /home/cesilko/.cache/netbeans/8.0.1 Steps to reproduce: =================== 1. Install NetBeans IDE 8.0.1 full distribution as root. 2. Launch the installed IDE as ordinary user and activate all IDE features in Tools > Plugins > Installed tab. Exit IDE. 3. Launch as root again and change URL of NetBeans Distribution Update Center to [1]. 4. Switch to Updates tab and update NetBeans updater module. Restart IDE. 5. Once notification about additional new updates pops up, click it and proceed with updating to 8.0.2 until the IDE is restarted one more time. Exit IDE. 6. Launch as user again and now try to install JUnit plugin through Plugins manager but it will complain that: Networking problem in http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/8.0.2/uc/final/certified/801odcs/extra/org-netbeans-modules-junitlib.nbm [1] http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/netbeans/updates/8.0.1/uc/final/distribution/catalog_stage.xml.gz
Update: if user reloads catalogs, the URLs to plugins get fixed.
The reload of catalogs should be the integral part of update from lower IDE version to higher in the update manager. I will fix it for 8.0.2 at the AUCs side.
Links to AUCs from previous versions of IDE have been added.
Catalogs for distribution AUCs have been modified accordingly.

> Does it mean, we have to fix it for next versions in the IDE ? Yes, we should. Otherwise we will have to link old certified AUCs link into the latest one.
Ok, so could you please create a new bug report against AUC ? Thanks in advance
Verified. Thanks for the quick fix Petre.
