I propose to split the parsing.api module to separate IDE-dependent parts into a special parsing.nb module. 
The "big overview" of the changes can be found in the Wiki: http://wiki.netbeans.org/ParsingAPISplit

I prepared a diff of API/friend API changes to Parsing API; full and working version of changes can be seen in the server_split branch.

Yes, initially done on server_split branch, now merged int o trunk.
