Description aramkarapetian 2014-07-20 22:17:17 UTC
Hi dear netbeans UI/UX designers

I'm using netbeans editor for PHP already three years and remember myself being annoyed by resize experience since the beginning. Was using different screen sizes (MBP 15", MBA 13", Dell 23").

This annoys especially when debugging something. Have to switch back and forth between windows. Alternative is to maximize editor and use panels which will be sliding every time.

I appreciate your work guys but will do it way more if you could do something about this issue. Just try to resize panels/windows and you should notice the issue. It's super hard to catch resize area because it's very small. Sometimes cursor stuck and resize does not work (cannot really explain).

Could try to play product guy and suggest solutions like make resize area on sides or remaining unused area next to tabs (right side) but I'm sure you guys are better in this.

Hope you all see the problem and will try to come up with solution soon.
Thank you
Aram

Please clarify what you're trying to resize - are you referring to resizing of docking areas or resizing of minimized windows or resizing of split document windows?

I'm referring to resizing docking areas.
