Description naveen 2002-06-10 06:10:18 UTC
FFJBuildID :RC5
JDK : 1.4FCS
OS : Linux7.2 Ja

To Reproduce :

- Mount "application" directory as local
directory, load Wizard "New Wizard - JarRecipe"

- Type in the <multibyte>Recipe Name, it is
observed that Generated Jar Name is not
constructed simultaneously.

The same operation when performed for English
Recipe Name, the Generated Jar Name is
constructed simultaneously.This is again
observed only in this platform and not in others.

does #18514 describe the same problem?
Comment 2 Milos Kleint 2002-06-10 17:21:05 UTC
i've tried on solaris and noticed the same behaviour. When i switched
to the input method that allows me to enter japanese characters, The
jar name field didn't update, however once i switched back to english
keyboard, the field updated. I'll check the sources however I assume
right now that it's out of scope of the jarpackager module.
Comment 3 Milos Kleint 2002-06-11 10:16:17 UTC
I've figured a way to fix the bug. fixed in trunk.

Bug also appears in version : FFJ40
