Movie where I try to select a folder. Only files can be selected.

1. Open Project properties.
2. Select 'Run Configuration'
3. Select 'Advanced...'
4. Try to enter the Project Path

Result:
Only files can be selected. After a file is selected a error message is set. In the browser window I can only open a folder but cannot select it.

Expected Result: The moment a folder is selected it should be possible to click 'ok'.

See also the attached movie.

I'm not on Mac right now, but could you please try to uncheck "Maximize use of native look and feel" checkbox? Go to NetBeans->Options (or Preferences - not sure about Mac) ->Appearance -> Look and feel and uncheck the "Maximize use of native look and feel". You might need to restart IDE after this.

If it won't help, please attach IDE log (see [1]). Thank you

Hi Vladimir,
That does the trick. After deselecting the option I can select a folder. Thank you for your response. Now I remember that I selected the option some time ago. I did forget about it :-(.

I'm glad it works. I think could be a duplicate of issue 225525, but I'm not sure. Reassigning

The JDK bug in #225525 is fixed in JDK 8, please reopen if the problem is still reproducible while running with JDK 8, thanks.
