In the Services-Tab, right-click on Servers/Glassfish Server 4, then "Properties"
Disable some checkboxes:
"Enable JDBC Driver Deployment"
"Preserve Sessions..."
"Start ... Derby"
Click on Close.

Server can be started with the configured details. Great.

Exit and restart Netbeans. Go back into the configuration dialog. The defaults are back instead of my configuration.

Confirmed on my machine running Windows 7, NetBeans 8.0 and jdk7u65

This is a regression as it works just fine in NetBeans 7.3
