Product Version = NetBeans IDE 8.0 (Build 201403101706)
Operating System = Windows 8 version 6.2 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_40
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 24.0-b56

When submitting a new task, I got this error:
Unexpected error: com.atlassian.jira.rest.client.RestClientException: java.lang.NullPointerException

from your report it is not obvious where the error appeared. Please reproduce the problem and attach your messages.log file to this issue

a bug in the third party connector library, see also https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/PLE-1551

we have to upgrade the relevant libs once the version 3.2.3 is out ...
