With Netbeans 8.0 along with JDK 8 in OS X + Emacs Key Binding,
When I hit Command+R for renaming, the dialog come up without input focus.
I found that it gets the focus when I hit Command+Tab twice which means I changing the front application and back to NetBeans.

Already fixed in NB 8.0.
Please update to latest NB 8.0 build (patch1)
