Thanks. Unfortunately it does not give any clue. Most probably the problem will be related to your graphics card type and driver. To move forward with the evaluation, I would like to ask you to file this problem directly to JDK bug database, provide details about your OS, Java, graphics card and driver, and reply to additional questions from the Java team. http://bugreport.java.com/bugreport/ Please add the JDK bug number as a comment to this bug. I will keep this bug closed on wontfix on NB side now. Thanks.
Workaround: -Dsun.java2d.opengl=true Maybe you should add that by default to netbeans.conf because that issue seems to be a real annoyance (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/1032936). And I have a quite common setup (nvidia geforce GTX 660).
