scrambled file dialog text

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, amd64, 2d desktop.

Happens with and without --laf Metal, ie. also with gnome's native dialog as you can see in the screenshot.

Thanks. Unfortunately it does not give any clue. Most probably the problem will be related to your graphics card type and driver. To move forward with the evaluation, I would like to ask you to file this problem directly to JDK bug database, provide details about your OS, Java, graphics card and driver, and reply to additional questions from the Java team.

Workaround: -Dsun.java2d.opengl=true

Maybe you should add that by default to netbeans.conf because that issue seems to be a real annoyance (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/1032936). And I have a quite common setup (nvidia geforce GTX 660).
