Description Lou Dasaro 2014-03-17 01:56:44 UTC
When reporting a Bug from the IDE using Help->Report Issue...
The info regarding Java is mis-aligned. That is to say,
the Java information from Help->About looks like this:

Java: 1.8.0; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.0-b70
Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0-b132

While the information auto-inserted into the Description field of the form looks like this:

Java; VM; Vendor = 1.8.0
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.0-b70

Looks like things got mixed-up somehow. I left this as a P3, because I believe the point of this functionality is to effortlessly get the right information into the Bug report.

the about info in a bug report is there only as an info for whoever reads the issue. The format itself is not important as long it is easily understandable.
Comment 2 Lou Dasaro 2014-03-17 18:36:45 UTC
That may be true, but the report itself is incomplete.
