The description for the hint reads:

If a Throwable is returned from a method call as a return value (as an oppposite to be thrown), [...]

"as an oppposite to" should be replaced by "as opposed to"

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
