Description Lou Dasaro 2014-02-10 04:20:41 UTC
As a tester,
I need to be able to see how old my assignments are,
so that I may complete my assignment in a timely fashion,

As a tribe leader,
I would like to see how old assignments are for my tribe members,
so I can visually scan for old assignments,
so I may know which tribe members to encourage to complete their assignments.

INSTEAD of the DATE, it might be a good idea to show the NUMBER OF DAYS ELAPSED since assignment, for assignments that are not 100% completed.
A nice touch would be to show:
Days 0 to 2 in black, 3 to 5 in blue, 6 days and over in red.

Additionally, in the user profile, it would be nice to show the actual date assigned for each assignment.

I'm not sure how this would be useful. What's the point of encouraging users based on age of assignment? The only thing that matters is to complete assignment before test run end date.

You can already visually see progress in assignments:
 - green = 100%, all passed
 - blue = 0% completed
 - yellow = in progress ( 0% < tested < 100%)
 - red = 100 % tested, some failed (and reported issues are not yet resolved)

Also if you hover over table cell with "Complted ...", it shows Started and Last updated date

Another thing is the table already has pretty decent number of colors, more colors would be (I think) distractive.
