Created attachment 143541 [details] Shows the time lag between submission and delivery on an email to listserv On 30-DEC-2013 just before midnight (GMT -6) I sent out emails to javafx@netcat.netbeans.org and also commented on Bug 239860 The emails were spooled but not sent for some twelve-plus hours. This also happened on a number of occasions during NetCAT 7.4 This Bug is to suggest that some ADDITIONAL measures be taken to improve reliability of these systems, particularly during sanity checking where there is a small window of time in which to respond to such communications. Today, I didn't receive Status Report #5 until 08:19 UMT, eleven hours after I received the first reply to it yesterday at 21:09 UMT !
Marco, do you have an explanation for such a delay? Thanks for your help!
In the two attached headers, the time is lost between the Oracle outbound MTAs and the Yahoo inbound MTAs:-( But that's all I can say. I have no more insight into what's going on there:-( Jiri, iff you want to try, ask the friendly email support group for help. I got pretty much taken out of the loop on email delivery.
