Description Lou Dasaro 2013-12-31 10:30:24 UTC
In Tools->Plugins->Installed, the JavaFX plugin is listed as "JavaFX 2".
This will confuse users, who will be working with Java/JavaFX 8.

Further, when activating the plugin, the following is displayed:

Version: 1.12 Source: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build nnnnnnnnnnnn)
Plugin Description
JavaFX 2 Support
JavaFX 2.0 is the next step in the evolution of Java as a rich client platform. It is designed to provide a lightweight, hardware-accelerated Java UI platform for enterprise and business applications.
JavaFX 2 Scene Builder
JavaFX2 Scene Builder support in the form of simple external launcher
Modules installed: JavaFX 2 Support, JavaFX 2 Scene Builder

This will probably (?) need to be escalated to management for review and recommendation.

However, the proper name of Scene Builder is "JavaFX Scene Builder", NOT JavaFX (revision) Scene Builder. At very least, this should be corrected immediately, because there is no such thing as "JavaFX 2 Scene Builder"!

Environment:
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201312300942)
Java: 1.8.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 25.0-b62
Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0-ea-b120
System: Windows 8 version 6.2 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)

This should be an easy fix; it's just changing the title of the plugin and the title/name for Scene Builder.
