Hi, 

The release roadmap at https://netbeans.org/community/releases/roadmap.html does not indicate that version 8 is coming. 

The release roadmap should be updated to reflect this fact.

I think it is important that the release roadmap reflects that Netbeans is being actively developed to show all current and potential users that Netbeans is the platform for the future.

PS: this has also been a "defect" in previous versions so maybe someone should add a note in the netcat process to remember to update the release roadmap whenever a new netcat kicks off.
