The css file used by javahelp topics is corrupted, causing some parts of some topics to render incorrectly in the javahelp viewer.

This is fixed in trunk and fix has been backported to 7.4 branch.

Ken, please let us know here what's the key point of the fix - changeset is too big to recognise the essential part; is it this one http://hg.netbeans.org/releases/diff/59c5b5558468/usersguide/javahelp/org/netbeans/modules/usersguide/ide.css ?
If so, please point us at some help pages containing warning/note, so that we are able to verify. Thanks in advance

Yes,
The main fix was to ide.css.
Specifically, at the beginning of the file there were a few corrupted characters which cause some elements in the topics to be formatted incorrectly.

This can clearly be seen if comparing the About NetBeans Modules topic in 7.4 with patch 1 installed.

The css was correct in 7.4. In patch1 we attempted to fix the path to the images directory that you can see in the diff, but that fix caused the formatting problem so we decided to not implement the fix in patch 1. 

However the changes were somehow propagated to patch 1. So we would like to now fix the problem introduced in patch 1.

mentioned topic 'About NetBeans Modules' looks ok now after applying patch2 - verified.
