Saving a file on OSX Mavericks, many NULL chars are placed at the end of file: these chars aren't displayed on netbeans but are visible in other text editor (like Editra for example).

The null characters are visible in Netbeans after you the file and reopen.

What type of file are you editing?
Do you use network sharing (FTP, samba, etc...)  and mentioned in issue 237766?
