Description Sergey Soldatov 2002-05-20 10:03:01 UTC
Configuration: win2000, FFJ 4.0 RC4
1) Open 'Runtime' pane in the explorer window and
expand 'Server Registry->Installed Servers->Tomcat 4.0-
>Internal'
2) Call popup menu for this node and choose 'Start Server'
Tomcat should be started at this point. Now kill this
process from the 'Running' pane.
3) Call 'Options..' from the 'Tools' menu.
4) Expand 'System->Modules->Web" and select 'Tomcat 4.0
server' node. Switch 'Enabled' field to the 'False' state.
'Tomcat 4.0' node will disapper from the explorer window.
5) Switch 'Enabled' field to the 'True' state. 'Tomcat 4.0'
node will appear again.
6) Now try to start this server as was discribed in the
step (2)
Server will not start with message "J2EE Server Execution
can not be used for this object, Please change the Executor
property to External Execution and try again"
You need to restart IDE to get it worked.
