I just installed NB 7.4 RC2
Steps:
create a new maven javafx project
Click on a package->New->Other
JavaFX category is not activated

Workaround: I created a normal javaFX project, then I did the previous steps in the maven project and the javaFx category is activated

Duplicate of the issue #233825.
Unfortunately the fix is not a part of NB 7.4
