Description pjmlp 2013-10-01 07:26:17 UTC
After playing around with the Dark Theme and Dark Nimbus themes available in Netbeans 7.4 RC1, I tried to reset the colors back, without sucess.

The code editor keeps using the syntax highlight settings from the previously selected theme, even after uninstalling it.

The editor coloring settings are independent on color themes. The dark theme plugin only switches the coloring settings to profile Norway Today. Just open Options -> Font&Colors and set required color profile

I realized that after a while, when my re-installation did not solve the issue.

Still this is something that will confuse a lot of users, specially NetBeans newbies.

In NetBeans 7.4 you can change the look and feel under
Options >> Miscellaneous >> Windows >> Look and Feel >> Preferred look and feel.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
