I was trying to save a shortcut despite a conflict detected. Netbeans freeze just after that. I had to kill the netbeans process.

Sorry, I can not reproduce it today since I remove my netbeans userdir.

I need to have the habit to launch netbeans with the console.

You can get thread dump without launching IDE from console. Use jsp and jstack tools

Thanks for the info,  

I have another freeze case: when I tried to navigate in my class hierarchy. I have the dump. Do you prefer I open a new issue or complete and reopen this one.

A different one; different action and most probably different code path provoked the freeze. Thanks. Meanwhile reassinging this defect to Text API, key binding support merely binds the key presses to the actual action.
