Description MackSix 2013-09-04 19:43:44 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Lock a Java file. (I open file in Microsoft Word)
2. Right click on file and choose delete, then check "Safely Delete".
3. Click the Refactor button.

Result: Delete appears to occur, but file is not removed.

Expected: A message dialog appears saying the file cannot be deleted.

If the file is previewed first, and then "Do Refactoring" button on preview window is clicked, a message appears saying that the file cannot be deleted.

Report from old NetBeans version. Due to code changes since it was reported likely not reproducible now. Feel free to reopen if happens in 8.0.2 or 8.1.

This is still valid.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Still valid. There looks to be a dialog that flashes on the screen, but it can hardly be seen because it does not persist onscreen like the dialog that comes up on refactoring after first clicking preview.
