Attached the selfsampler.

1.) First time Open Resources and looking for a file is quite slow.
2.) Openening the same file again still takes a couple of seconds , although it should be snapping fast the second or third time, since I searched for exactly the same file

I'm not sure what NB is doing at the first time 'Opening Resources', but it could definately do it it times where it's not doing anything at all.

I started NB in the morning, then went away for 30 mins and came back, then did the 'Open resources' and it was quite slow around 30 seconds.

It would be such an improvement if NB would use the time where nothing is done by the user to do 'reindexing' or whatever to improve/optimize the user experience when search/open resource/open type...
