Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.3 (Build 201306052037) Operating System = Linux version 3.8.0-26-generic running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_25 Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 23.7-b01 I'm using Netbeans on Ubuntu 13.04 with Unity. About a week ago the native look and feel suddenly stopped working. Now menus and fonts are back to the Java Defaults. And yes, the Option to max native L&F in Misc -> Windows is ticked :-)

Attach a screen shot please and reopen, thanks.
Created attachment 137420 [details] Netbeans not using the native L&F As you can see the java default font is used all over the place again.
Thanks for the screen shot. If you start NetBeans with --laf GTK command line switch does it work then? Also, can you please try with Oracle JDK 1.7?
Please provide the requested info and reopen, thanks.
I tried it using the command line switch and it worked. But actually it seems a bit erratic because currently it's working fine regardless how I start the IDE; be it from the CLI or the Unity Dash, with or w/o the --laf GTK switch. Sorry, seems I currently cannot reproduce the bug :-(
Closing as not reproducible.
