libs.xerces specifies Covered-Packages, but probably missed out org.netbeans.libs.xerces Btw. Sváťo can you explain me once what is the purpose of using Covered-Packages when we see each other in the office?

Jardo: you suggested to use Covered-Packages to mask out registrations in META-INF/services. The whole point is *not* to register this xerces implementation as the default SAX, DOM parser in NetBeans and instead leave whatever JDK provides, unless of course a module instantiates a specific SAXParserFactory by name.
