I got the following error message today after starting up NetBeans: org.apache.subversion.javahl.ClientException: E155021: This client is too old to work with the working copy at 'C:\Users\Zian\Documents\[...]\HealthTracker' (format '31'). We strongly recommend to either install a newer Subversion client or downgrade your working copy. Any local changes might corrupt your working copy and some file operations as copying, renaming and deleting will not work correctly.
Attach the messages.log: http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqLogMessagesFile Most probably you upgraded your working copy with an external 1.8 svn client. Switch to commandline in the IDE: Tools -> Options -> Misc -> Versioning -> Subversion and switch the "Preferred Client" combo to CLI and enter path to the svn.exe
Thanks Ondrej Vrabec. Followed as you suggested and it seems to be working.
Thanks Ondrej Vrabec, As your suggestion the error is not coming at the starting of netbeans. Can you please explain why this problem and why there to choose CLI instead of others. Thanks in advance.

Because bundled svn clients in older versions of NB simply cannot work (they are too old) with newer subversion working copies: http://wiki.netbeans.org/FaqSubversionClients
