Terminal window has its own color schema - independent from the l&f scheme and also independent from editor color schema.

Ok, but is that schema also used in property editors visible above the terminal preview ?

Good point, the settings window for Terminal Emulator should use ColorCombox from openide.awt module

Verified in 201307262300. After pressing the "Reset" button in the dialog the terminal background is reset to a dark color.
