Description Jonathan Essex 2002-04-28 19:16:10 UTC
This issue seems to affect all the CVS commands. Mounting a repository seems to work
okay. When I select any CVS command (e.g. commit, update, status) on a given file, it
will bring up the 'Arguments' window as normal, only the window is completely blank.
The controls still seem to be there, only invisible. (The mouse cursor will change at
certain points within the window). Pressing 'enter' will typically make the CVS command
run normally, but obviously only with the default attributes.

I used to use the built-in CVS all the time on netbeans 3.2. Unfortunately I upgraded to
3.3.1 and upgraded OS X from 10.1.2 to 10.1.4 at more or less the same time, so I can't
say which caused the problem.

I have tried changing between the Mac look-and-feel and the default look-and-feel but I
get the same problem with both. I tried rolling back to my old version of netbeans but the
problem still seems to be there - either my upgrade to 10.1.4 caused the problem, or I
didn't roll back properly.

Oddly I can't see any kind of exceptions logged on the standard output. (Dang!)

To be honest I haven't tested many other forms within the IDE as the CVS thing is a bit of
a show-stopper for me.

yes, it's a known problem, already fixed in main trunk and in orion
branch. Will appear in 3.3.2 as well.

There also is easy workaround. Use external cvs.

Milos is right. Verified as duplicate.

Resolved for 3.4.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
