This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 218922, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

Build: NetBeans IDE 7.3 (Build 201302132200)
VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, 23.6-b04, Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment, 1.7.0_11-b21
OS: Windows 7

Exception from 3rd party module: org.jmarsault.shortcuts.ShortcutSettings - please remove from update center (if available).

It should already be fixed in the latest version of the plugin (1.0.6). I just asked for a verification of this version on the portal.

Why a version that is not built for 7.3 is available on the update center?

Thanks a lot Jeremy for your quick fix. In my opinion the reporter installed your plugin from Update Center into his/her 7.2 and then imported the plugin into newly installed 7.3.
