It seems that you don't have write permissions to your user home directory "\\vmware-host\Shared Folders".
Can you please check the permissions?
Is it really your home directory? It can be some problem in configuration.

Can you please try starting NetBeans with parameter -J-Dnetbeans.derby.system.home=<path>? Thank you.
Comment 3 Libor Fischmeistr 2013-08-13 10:44:35 UTC
I suppose that as Jarda wrote, user had not permissions to write to that folder.

If you have still this problem, please provide us more info (IDE log). Check folder permissions.

Thanks
