Image depicting vertical red line issue

There is a persistent red, vertical line present in the editor window. It is observed on multiple computers. See attached image for example.

Are you sure the red line is not the 80th character marker ? If it bothers you, configure it away in Tools | Options - Editor | Formatting, set right margin to either something huge, or 0 (but may impact formatting), or in Tools | Options - Fonts & Colors, "Text Limit Line"

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
