Description Alexander Pepin 2012-11-26 13:27:33 UTC
If a user has any of full remote projects opened then in Files tab a full remote project folder is not marked as remote (does not contain remote host name) and looks like an ordinal local folder. That could be very confusing as users could have local and remote projects with the same names.

I propose to include host name of a *full* remote project into its *display name*. This will solve not only Files pane issue, but prevent ambiguities in "Open Recent Project" menu, Welcome page, etc.

While thinking this over I understood that this problem is similar to the one described in the issue 145065.

The problem described in this one sounds like:
- I have two projects with the same name, local and remote, absence of host name in files tab confuses me.

The issue of several local (or remote) project with the same name in different parent directories seems to be nearly the same: same project name, different locations (probably one of them is remote)

So let's decide whether we want to solve this more generic problem and how we want to solve it. Solving only "local vs remote" problem seems to be not consistent enouth.
