Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201210260001)
Operating System = Linux version 3.5.0-18-generic running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_09
Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 23.2-b09

when I give a value to the name,  it not write into web.xml file. and after I close it and reopen it. it become empty again.

the web.xml is base on web-app_3_0.xsd

The 'name' element applies to web-fragment.xml
