When I installed a second time, I could not proceed 
(forward button disabled) unless I chose to use the old 
install dir, which was not what I wanted to do.

NOTE: occurred 2 weeks ago.

Because we have new installers and those are done using different
technology we won't fix this.

Resolved for 3.4 or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
