NetBeans error while creating new java application

Hello,

i am not able to use the NetBeans. While, after installing the netbeans if i am trying to create new application i am getting the error message.

its like,

A java.lang.NullPointerException exception has occurred.
However, the system should continue working without further problems.
Click Show Details for the stack trace.

can you guys suggest any better solution to solve this issue.

NetBeans 6.5 is very old version and no more maintained. Please use nb 7.1.x or upcoming NB 7.2.
The screenshot is not very helpful, either click on "Review and Report Problem" to report the issue automatically or click on "Show Details" and paste the exception into the report.
