Description bauchladen 2002-03-12 08:43:55 UTC
The Workspace-Switcher is at the Top of the Netbeans IDE,
The Explorer-Tabs (Editing Workspace) are at the Bottom of the File Explorer.

Now, when you have to switch 10000 Times a day from the "Running"- Workspace to
the Editing Workspace - Runtime/Filesystems/Javadoc, and back (and your Display
Resulution is something > 640x480), your Mouse has to go a long long long way.

My idea to shorten the way, was to move the Tab from the bottom to the top of
the Explorer via drag & drop (a nice Swing Feature), or via Property.

I know, i can allways use the Keyboard to switch with Ctrl/Shift-Cursor down/up
between the workspaces and with Alt + Left or Right Buttons betweeen the
Explorer-Tabs. But it´s faster to switch all this with the mouse (because you
have also to click on Explorer Items, open Context menues etc. ...

What do you mean?

In my opinion this is window system issue, not explorer.

Window System in NB3.6 is absolutely different, try it again and if
you disagree file new issue, thanks in advance.
